Abstract: The bound state in the continuum (BIC) has been extensively explored in metamaterials to achieve strong light–matter interactions and advance laser science. However, its role in waveguide QED has received comparatively less attention. In this talk, I will present our recent work on BICs in waveguide QED, where both giant and small artificial atoms interact with a coupled-resonator waveguide. Firstly, we will show that the BIC in the giant atom waveguide system can be used to simulate the magic QED setup, the BIC is then applied to perform entangled state preparation and transfer. At last, we will investigate the bound state in the doublon continuum, which is beyond single excitation subspace.

报告人简介:王治海,东北师范大学量子科学中心教授,博士生导师,国家级青年人才。研究方向为量子物理和量子光学。近期主要从事量子开放系统、波导电动力学以及量子精密测量的理论研究。在Phys. Rev. Lett.Phys. Rev. A SCl杂志上发表论文60余篇, 主持科技部重点计划(政府间科技创新合作)项目1项,国家自然科学基金委青年项目1项,面上项目2项,专项项目1项,获得吉林省首届优秀青年基金支持。
